Yamagata Prefecture has announced the winter closure schedule for the Gassan Park Line (Route 211) for fiscal year 2025.

Winter Closure Details

• Closed Section: Gassan Park Line (from the 4th to the 8th station of Mt. Gassan) – Full road closure
• Closure Date: October 20, 2025
• Closure Begins: 3:00 p.m.

Please refrain from attempting a same-day “bullet climb” after the day of the closure.
