Getting to Tsuruoka City (main hub for going to the Dewa Sanzan)
The Dewa Sanzan is a group of three mountains that are shared by several municipalities in Yamagata Prefecture (Tsuruoka city, Shonai Town, Nishikawa Town).
It is easier to accomplish the Dewa Sanzan pilgrimage starting from Tsuruoka city.
